About Deb Miller Landau
Deb Miller Landau is the genre-bending author of A Devil Went Down to Georgia: race, power, privilege and the murder of Lita McClinton, a book Oprah Daily ranked #1 on its list of the best true crime books of all time. In 2024, it was optioned for a limited series by Universal Studios and was recently nominated for the Edgar Allen Poe award for “best fact crime.” Deb’s book has been featured in Atlanta magazine, People, Newsweek, NPR’s All Things Considered, and was the inspiration of a recent two-hour episode of ABC’s 20/20, in which she appeared as an on-screen expert. She’s written dozens of magazine articles and travel guidebooks for Lonely Planet Publications. She now lives in Portland, Oregon.
